Author’s P.O.V:
The Alpha King Emmett had left the hall for a few minutes as there was a suspicious matter involving rogues that he needed to handle right away. Gamma Seth and Zach also left with him, while Beta Rex stayed in the hall as per Emmett’s order. When Beta Rex heard and saw what all of the princesses and noble women were doing to Elaine he immediately mind-linked the Alpha King. Emmett was already angry because of the rogues and it didn't help that his wolf Emil was also acting really weird.
Emmett was unable to leave the palace grounds because his wolf was feeling restless and automatically Emmett’s eyes went to the hall that was now far away from where he was. When Beta Rex informed him about what was happening with Elaine, this just added more fuel to his anger,
