Sometime later, June entered the kitchen out of breath as if she’d been running. As she had promised, she came back with the number of visiting guests. I laughed at her eagerness caused by her success, but now that we knew how many people we had to cook for, the task became a little easier. It was now eight pm and slowly the guests started arriving and the activity was increasing with them. Even though I was in the kitchen, I could hear the voices of all of those people chatting and laughing.
The entire palace smelled different with all of the new wolf scents, as well as the perfumes that some she-wolves had applied so strongly that I felt suffocated. They all must be beautiful since they’re all from Noble families including some princes and princesses. Another fort
