Elaine came out of the bathroom after a while and June was waiting for her with a damp towel. She gently wiped her face and noticed that she was able to open her eyes and seemed to recognize where she was.
“How are you feeling now?” June asked.
“I’m better. Thank you so much for bringing me here.” Elaine replied. “I’m glad that the Alpha King didn’t see me in my drunken state. I don’t think I’d be able to get over the embarrassment if I had.” Elaine continued, giving June a soft hug to sincerely thank her.
