Emmett's P.O.V.
After checking up on Rex who was now out of the hospital, as healthy as ever, I found Zach and Seth. They reported again that they still haven’t found any sign of Elaine anywhere. It’s been forty-eight hours now and there’s no trace of her. We’ve searched for her everywhere, but it was as if she had just disappeared into thin air. I was in a rage and my wolf was restless. I haven’t been able to sleep or breathe without her.
Entering my bedroom, I could see her everywhere: the floor where she used to sleep, the sofa where we would eat together, the bed where we shared our best moments. Every second that I spent in this room without her was torturing me. Her scent was slowly fading away and I couldn’t bear the thought of what I’d do if it was allowed to completely disappear
