Elaine's P.O.V.
"EMMETT!!!" Shouting at the top of my lungs, I ran towards him and immediately pulled him into my arms so that he wouldn’t fall to the ground, but his weight drug us both down despite my efforts. His head was bleeding, and, in addition to that, he had wounds all over his body. I saw that he had closed his eyes and was completely limp. I tried to wake him up by calling his name loudly, but when he remained unconscious I decided that I had to get him back to the pack so that he could receive medical attention.
Putting his arm around my neck, I placed my hand around his waist and gritted my teeth as I tried to pull him up so that we could make our way back. After just a few seconds though, I realized that I wasn’t strong enough to hold him up and he was about to fall
