"Hey, watch where you're going!" I whispered an apology to the passer, ducking my head towards the sidewalk as I made my way to the park. It had been two days since my mother’s breakdown, and we hadn't spoken of Miles since. Nothing has shifted between Miles and I, yet there was this cloud of gloom hanging over my head.
