Ford awoke to find that the entire right side of his face had been swollen and he had a small recollection of being beaten once brought here. With only darkness surrounding him, he tried to pull hard on the binds before finding another figure to be behind him. Someone else had been tied up, but was motionless behind him-even as he called out to them.
