When I finally made the announcement, right in front of the nobles and members of the royal families, everyone suddenly found something else to look at. Eyes darted away, gazes dropped to the floor, and some pretended to sip their wine or adjust their clothes again.
Most of them clearly didn’t agree with what I had just declared that I would be crowned as the next Queen of the Kingdom.
