TIARA THORNELLS It was pitch black inside the closed carriage. Not even a sliver of light peeked through, no cracks, no holes, just thick darkness closing in on all sides. The only air I could breathe came from the faintest gaps at the corners, letting in cold gusts from the outside. Time passed, how long, I couldn’t tell. The carriage raced through the unknown, and I could feel my heart pounding harder with every mile. Eventually, the carriage began to slow.
