TIARA THORNELLS As the weeks passed, Prince Zatan and his vampire knights continued their relentless search for Prince Dawn. But he left behind only traces, faint signs that always led to nothing. He was far too skilled at hiding. I couldn’t help but feel relieved, though, because ever since I was relocated to our quiet village, everything had been calm and peaceful. I’ve been able to live quietly here with Grandpa and my friends without any suspicious incidents. The vampire knights had started to ease up on their vigilance a bit. In the earlier weeks, they had been extremely strict, not allowing me to wander far from the house. After all, we couldn’t predict when danger might arrive, especially since the king himself was our enemy. The knights were only following Prince Zatan’s orders
