TIARA THORNELLS It was only two o’clock in the morning when Mrs. Margot’s voice pierced the silence, waking us up with her sharp morning call. Today was no ordinary day, the banquet party was scheduled for tonight, and an enormous amount of work lay ahead of us. All the servants, without exception, were ordered to report to the banquet hall immediately. We left our chambers and got to work.
