Liana's POV Later that night, after tucking Cam in bed with her favorite bunny wrapped around her chest, I stood outside her door just watching her sleep. Her nightlight sent a warm, golden light across her face. She looked so peaceful… so unaware of how close our world had come to shattering. I rested against the door, my arms folded across my chest. Mum crept up behind me, a cup of tea in her hand. She handed it to me and did not say a word. We stood shoulder to shoulder for a long, moment.
