Chapter 7: Akeehla's P.O.V.

1872 Words
Well, this night went to s**t. Mo ran away leaving all of us to freak out. I figured out that I can mind link from miles away. At least with my siblings. And I found out what secret it is that everyone has been keeping from Relly. Now the vision Mo was telling us about makes more sense. I should have seen it sooner. Should have peaked into her head instead of dismissing her the way I did. I should know better than anyone how Mo feels. Our powers are similar in the way that we know things that we don't want to. I do fully believe her at this point as well. It just makes too much sense with what Aunt Lenny was thinking. Aunt Lenny and I called Relly here the moment my parents left to get Mo. Well, I didn't mean to call her here. Just to contact her. I definitely wasn't expecting her to bring the Lycan King here. I had to try, with immense will, to push all of his and Relly's thoughts from entering my brain. Mates are so gross. I wonder if I would feel that way if Bridger hadn't rejected me. He is gross. Nexi huffed annoyed. I know. I replied softly. His inability to cherish his mate is disgusting all in itself. She said. I only nodded to her in agreement. I know that Nexi means well. She just wants to cheer me up over the matter. I just can't right now. I'm too exhuasted from todays events. "I'm going to check on Mo." I announced. My parents have to have a conversation with Relly anyways. I do not want to be around when they tell her that her mate has to go. Not with the memories I saw from what she did when they made her forget about him. That is a situation I do not want to be a part of. It's bad enough that I know. Although, I don't understand why Relly doesn't recognize her mate. That is very strange to me. Ryce hasn't told her either. Only because he's a big manchild with anger issues. It's always anger. Aunt Lenny. I called to her mind. What's up my little Derranged? She replied. I rolled my eyes at her use of that stupid nickname. Isn't is strange that Relly doesn't recognize her mate? Clearly they have been.. doing stuff. Shouldn't that spell have broken? I asked her. I felt Aunt Lenny close up. Mind your business Akeehla. She said. Yeah I know, no one is supposed to interfere. Although, it seems a lot like someone already did. I said. With that I marched up the stairs. Right to Mo's room. I cracked her door open softly to see her in her bed, under her covers sobbing. My heart broke. This is all my fault. Mo ran away because of how I have been treating her. I just.. It's not an excuse to treat my little sister the way I did. Nexi whined in my head. The thoughts that ran through my head when Mo ran were worse than anyone else's. I would know. Flashes of memories over the last two years flooded my brain. The anger that rose inside of me was hard to swallow. I would have burned down this entire f*****g planet to find my little sister. Those Hunters would have all begged for their lives if they laid even a finger on Amory's precious little head. I would have tore them to pieces, and sent their bones to their families. I would have bathed in their blood, and relished in their screams. Mo's doorknob fell to the floor knocking me from my thoughts. s**t, I broke it. Damnit, I almost lost control. Mo peaked her head over her covers at me. Then she glared before wrapping herself up again. My heart sunk. "Go away." Came Mo's muffled voice. I should have never shut Mo out. She might remind me of painful memories, but she doesn't know that. I don't want her to feel like I don't love her. Mo doesn't deserve that. I walked into her room, and sat on her bed. She kicked me, and I frowned at her. Little s**t. "That hurt." I said. "Boo hoo." Mo replied snarkily. I chuckled at her. "You really scared us all Mo." I said softly. "Why would you do something like this? Espeically right after I got back?" I scolded her. Mo threw her blanket off of her, and shot up. Her strawberry blonde curls are a mess around her making me chuckle more. Mo swiped all of her hair out of her face as she scoffed at me. "Why are you so mean?" She countered. I shook my head. "Acaisia and Ahkari were the same way with me." I said. What a lame ass excuse. Mo rolled her eyes. "You just hate me." She declared. I shook my head. "I don't hate you Mo." I told her. "Then why are you being so mean to me? Ever since you got back you've been avoiding me. You never did that before." She argued. I sighed. I know that she's right. I just don't want to tell her the truth. So don't. Nexi stated. We are always the bad guy anyways. I internally winced. She's right, but.. I don't want to be the bad guy to my little sister. I don't have to tell Mo everything, but I can treat her better. "I'm sorry Mo. It wasn't right of me to do that. Do you think you could forgive me?" I asked her. The little six year old nodded to me, her strawberry curls bouncing all around. "Good." I said with a smile. I moved Mo so that I could lay in her bed with her. She tossed her blanket over the both of us, and she snuggled up against me. I snapped my fingers, and the lights turned off. We were silent for a while before Mo broke it. "Kee, are you ever going to talk about what happened to you?" She asked softly. I tried not to wince. Nexi huffed, and retreated to the back of my mind. I tried to send calming waves to my wolf, but I have no idea if she felt them. "No." I stated. "Why not? Everyone is worried about you." Mo said casually. I blew out a breath. "Well, I was kidnapped for two years Mo. Of course everyone is worried about me." I said. Mo went silent for a moment. I thought that I had successfully evaded her question. Apparently, that was just wishful thinking. "So, you gonna tell us?" Mo asked. "No Mo, I am not." I said softly. "But I promise to start being a better sister." I turned my head to look at my baby sister. She smiled at me. Flashes of other kids smiles flew behind my eyes. I shoved the pain down. "I'm really sorry about pushing you away. I shouldn't have done that." I said. "Does that mean you believe me about my visions?" She asked. "Oh, I believe you alright." I said. Mo frowned at me. "What?" She asked confused. I shook my head. "It'll make sense in time. Unfortunately, we can't interfere with Relly's wedding. We have to let the adults handle it." I told her. Mo shot up in her bed. She stared down at me with wide eyes. Her heart rate even spiked. "What?!" She screeched. "We can't do that! Everyone is going to die!" I sat up, and pulled Mo's hands into my lap. "Calm down." I ordered. Mo huffed at me, but her heart calmed slightly. "What exactly did you see Mo?" I asked. I stared into Mo's white eyes as the flashes bombarded me. There's blood all over the floor. Relly is there, covered in blood from the neck down. She's in a black wedding dress. Her eyes are black as well. Relly's darkness... The scene flashed before me so fast that I couldn't keep up. I saw us all there, but then we were gone. Ryce is there as well. I saw a head of someone I haven't seen before roll across the floor. And then it stopped. "Did you see?" Mo asked. I nodded. "I saw." "We have to help!" Mo shouted. "No." I said shaking my head. "You need to pay more attention to your visions." I told her. "Huh?" Mo asked. "Relly was covered in blood yes, but I didn't see anyone we know die. Looked a whole lot like Relly was handling it on her own. Her mate was there too. I doubt that Relly would let anything happen to her mate. Besides, it's not like we can die." I told her. I would know for sure if any of us could die. Maybe that's why I'm not worried. I've experienced thousands of different deaths. Look at me, still breathing, still carrying on with my pathetic life. Mo's frown fell as she thought about what I said. "So.. you think that.. I mean, Relly will be okay right?" Mo asked. I nodded. "Yes she will." I said. I will make sure that she's fine. No matter what happens at this supposed wedding. Relly will come out alive, and all of our enemies will suffer. Even if I have to do it myself. "How do you know Relly's mate was there?" Mo asked. Shit. "Uh, lucky guess." I lied. "Liar." Mo called me out. "Okay, but it stays between the two of us. I'm not supposed to know, and it could be very bad for Grandpa if anyone found out that we know." I told her. "Okay. I'll keep the secret. I promise." Mo said. I held my pinky out to her. "Swear on it." I said. Mo hooked her pinky with mine. We touched our thumbs together. Then kissed our hands. A tridition between the two of us. "Okay," I said. "So, the Lycan King is Relly's mate. There is some whack deal going on between the adults." I waved my hand in the air. "They're all a bunch of idiots. If I were Grandpa, I would have slaughter-" I cut myself off when I realized that I'm talking to my six year old sister. I cleared my throat. "Uh, anyways. He was here tonight too. I don't know why Relly doesn't see it, but.. It's only a matter of time." I told her. "Before what?" Mo asked. "Before they end up together." I said. "How can you be so sure if Relly doesn't know who he is?" She asked. I sighed. "The Moon Goddess has a way of making sure that mates end up together." My heart panged. "Most of the time anyways." I mumbled. I felt Nexi stir slightly. My heart squeezed. She has been through so much. We both have. We've went through everything together. I'm so sorry that you have to be- Don't even start. Nexi snapped cutting me off. I sighed as she settled back in the back of my mind. "So, her mate will save her then?" Mo asked. I scoffed. "We are Morningstar's Amory. Relly will save herself."
