Pandora’s POV.
I couldn’t sleep. Excitement and nerves kept me awake. So, I did what any rational person would do when faced with insomnia. I read the black book for more information about my lineage. I then walked. I walked and walked until I came to the clearing where the battle happened nearly the day before.
I walked around the clearing feeling the lingering energy, the fear, the desperation, and anger — so much anger. I reach down and place my hand on the grass, close my eyes and feel the energy that is thrumming under my hand. I feel the purity of the energy and watch in my mind as life forms and grows. I open my eyes and gasp, seeing that I’m sitting in tall grass. I stand up and the blades tickle my arms as I look around, seeing that I made the grass grow.
