Atlas’s POV.
I watch in panic as Pandora vanishes, only leaving a burst of bright behind her. I shield my eyes as the darkness returns.
“NOOOOOOOO!” Lucifer roars and I blink just in time to see him drop to his knees, clutching at his long braid.
“Where did she go?” I ask as I stagger forward with Ajax, Lilith, Natheniel and Finnian beside me.
“She has gone to ask for help.” Quintessa says and Lucifer looks up at her with a growl.
“They will kill her!” Lucifer roars again and jumps to his feet. I watch as the muscles in his back bulge and his body twists and morphs as he grows. His skin changing colour as his muscles grow. The heat coming from him causes us to step back.
