After a restless night’s sleep, I was up and showered and changed ready to go to the clinic to do the DNA test. Both my gran and grandad are coming along and for that I am grateful.
Things between us are all a little strained and I would for anything to change. I suppose I just have to wait it all out and see what happens. Either way I will always love them and be ever so thankful for what they have done for me.
With grandad driving us, we make light conversation. Nothing overly exciting, something just to keep us from sitting in silence.
The clinic or should I say doctors surgery soon comes into view. Once parked and our thoughts gathered we head in. Gran taking the lead and speaking with the receptionist.
“Just take a seat” I heard the receptionist say and she disappears.
