My eyes peel open and I hear her mesmerizing voice in the distance, a smile forms on my face.
"Come on sleepy head, it's time to wake up. We have a breakfast date and we not skipping this morning," she jumps on the bed.
"Aren't you a little too old to be jumping on the bed?"
"Nope never too old, get up," she giggles looking radiant with her hair loose over her shoulders dressed in shorts and a tank top looking shower fresh.
"Then you do know what happened to the monkey," I chuckle.
"What monkey?" she asks puzzled still jumping from one leg to the other.
I move my leg swiftly behind hers and push her forward. I sweep her off her feet, nudging her behind her knee and she falls forward. I catch her on my chest, "the one who bumped his head."
