"I can't believe I let things get to this point," she whispers and let go of me taking her seat.
"What point is that?" I ask.
"I'm so drained Reyon, I keep thinking things are going to get better. Put out whatever I want to receive into the universe, let fate have its way and it's going to come right back to me but..." tears flow down her face again and she wipes at them with the back of her hand.
"Maybe you need a new resolution or put something else out there because fate always has its way."
