HAPPY READING

"You're not sleeping are you?" she mumbles beside me.
"I'm trying probably got a two to three hours in," I grumble.
"You're just terrible at this," she mumbles and nuzzles into the sheet.
"What?" I say playing dumb.
"I know you heard me," she says eyes still close and voice gravelly.
"I'm trying," I whisper.
"You're just terrible," she grumbles more inaudible and pulls the sheet to herself. "I could sleep just fine if you let me be but no... all this heavy sighing is beginning to annoy me," she adds.
It is certainly annoying and I know how Chinell values her sleep. But fight it as I may, I couldn't help it.
