"Come talk to me baby," mom says patting the seat next to her after we had dinner.
I sit with a heavy sigh, exasperated with my situation, no matter the doubt I feel and the confidence I was losing in our relationship, I didn't want it to be on my conscience that I give up without trying like I didn't try at all.
