Lucifer teleported himself, Sid, and Elaine to Hell, straight to the Endless Depth. Instead of standing by the cliff, Lucifer took another route which would allow him to get closer to the edge of the pool. Even though he'd been the one to create this vast cage, the closer they got to the pool, the more he could feel the energy in the air around him shifting—the darkness from the wicked souls in the water too great to keep fully contained.
