Lucifer teleported himself, Sid, and Elaine to Hell, straight to the Endless Depth.
Instead of standing by the cliff, Lucifer took another route which would allow him to get closer to the edge of the pool. Even though he'd been the one to create this vast cage, the closer they got to the pool, the more he could feel the energy in the air around him shifting—the darkness from the wicked souls in the water too great to keep fully contained.
Even Sid's haunches seemed to rise, letting out a low growl but keeping pace with Lucifer.
Elaine remained quiet, but the furrow in her brow told Lucifer that she was more affected by the dark aura down here, next to the Endless Depth.
So far, nothing looked or felt off though. Lucifer couldn't spot or hear any of the wicked souls out here.
