I woke up to a hand slapping my face.
My cheeks were already swollen from the number of punches that Claire was sure to throw at me, but I knew to be strong. It wasn’t until she grabbed my head, slamming it against the wall behind me, that I was knocked out once again.
“You know, I doubt that I am ever going to get tired of doing this.” She said, grabbing my face, forcing me to look her in the eye. “But it is time for the ritual. It is time for the whole world to see the cursed little wolf losing her life. You know, it would have been amazing if I could keep you alive for a while longer. I would have enjoyed what I can do to you, but you know, I am going to have to cope with the few hours that I got. At least, I know that you got to taste your own f*****g medicine.”
