‘Sharon Hoyles,’ Darya sneered. ‘What’s she still doing at the company?’
After she kicked the woman off her team, Darya thought Sharon had left Paragon with her tail between her legs.
‘She’s been demoted,’ Glen said. ‘Mr Avery decided to keep her on.’
‘For what?’
‘I think he’s trying to use her as bait.’
‘We already know the one colluding with her is Douglas Kay.’
‘Mr Avery says Douglas is slippery. He needs Sharon to—’
‘To lead Douglas to make more mistakes. Got it.’ Darya set down her coffee. ‘Fine. But it doesn’t mean I have to tolerate that woman making waves in the company.’
‘Would you like me to do something about it?’ Glen offered. ‘I could have her transferred to an office out of town.’
‘Nah, that defeats Avery’s purpose of keeping her here.’ Darya tapp
