The sun had barely dipped below the horizon when I guided Sienna out of the car, her hand tucked securely in mine. The sky above was painted in hues of rose and orange, and the distant chirping of crickets signaled the oncoming night.
Having had dinner together, the two of us were now heading towards somewhere that I planned for the service to be staying in. Somewhere isolated, somewhere away from all the troubles that we were living in. Somewhere where the two of us could just be together.
She looked around, her brows slightly knit in confusion. “Where are we?”
