This cat and mouse game we were playing was pretty frightening, and I was starting to wonder why on earth we decided to go there so utterly unprepared! Something in the air started to draw me in, and I closed my eyes to concentrate as I tried to find where it was coming from.
As soon as I felt it, I started moving in that direction and before long, we stepped out into an enormous cave. A bright blue light shone from what looked like a door with demon writing on it, but the writing was in a very ancient dialect.
That was it! That had to be the tomb! I stepped closer, but my attention was drawn to someone throwing up behind me and when I looked, Theodore keeled over right beside the huge male demon that came with us.
From the looks of things, only Esmeralda and I weren’t affected
