I checked on the last reports received by our scouts when Theodore found me to remind me that everybody was waiting just for me. We were on our way with the next group of students to visit the castle, but I just couldn’t believe that there was no sign of other camps and children.
What we did find out was that a couple of demons had moved back into the castle, but that was expected. As Esmeralda told me before, we couldn’t wipe them out entirely and while we had no proof that they had children with them, we couldn’t storm in there and take over.
There had been no sign of the wolf children since they moved back in. Esmeralda had also removed all their magical artifacts, so it would probably take them a while to recover their numbers. I knew all this, yet I still had this damn feeli
