I could hear the demons behind me mumbling and I could feel their unease. Their entire world just changed in the blink of an eye! They were used to having rulers who taught them that there was only pain and suffering and many of them were there because that was all they wanted.
I knew that there was no way in hell I would change all of them, but that didn’t mean I wasn’t going to damn well try. If good needed evil to survive in this world, I would make sure the evil didn’t harm anybody.
Or I would try. I rolled my eyes at my own thoughts. I was being awfully naïve in thinking I could make demons good people, wasn’t I? I could feel the power inside me fighting against the garden I created and that was just a silly garden.
