“Where is she?” I rasped. “Tell me everything.”
“She’s heading east,” Luca said quickly, breathless. “Beyond the ridge. Past the old rogue border where the outposts used to be. She’s alone.”
My pulse spiked hard enough that it felt like a punch to the chest.
“Alone?” I echoed, disbelieving. “No one took her in? No ally packs, no loners?”
