ALICE
Everything happens in slow motion. I watch as the attacker falls to the ground and when I turn my head back to Liam, he is right beside me. He looks into my eyes with concern. I can not remember how he got here as everything is very confusing all of a sudden.
“Alice, are you okay?”
He takes a hair out of my face that is clinging to the blood against my face. I do not know what to think or feel. I just stand and stare at Liam. Everything around me fades away. I hear nothing but the sound of my own breathing. I only see Liam and his blue eyes staring into my soul. I slowly close my eyes for a moment and then I look again at everything around me. Then I know exactly what I should do.
