I feel a deep blush creeping up to my cheeks. I do not know which way to look. I feel so ashamed and embarrassed with Vincent pointing a finger at me. Everyone stares at me, all at once. I take a few steps back but then he shouts again.
“You, you caused this!!"
He wants to stand up and grab me but the nurses keep him down because of his injuries. Nita looks at me with a question on her face. She does not understand why he is pointing at me. Then she says.
“What does he mean, Alice?"
I want to explain but everything in me rather wants to run away. I turn around and walk away while he still shouts after me.
