"You hit Camille?" I ask the moment we're in the kitchen.
Brent takes a backward step, his hands going up in surrender.

"You threatened my sister?"

"You hurt Camille's brother?"

I cross my arms over my chest, leaning back against the sink.
"Brent, you know that I've let a lot of s**t go in the past, but you're trying me right now. Convince me that you didn't do any of those things."
