The theatre of their university can hear the noise, laughs, and cheers of the crowd as they play. It was just three weeks later that Nicki had a dispute with Dominic. He knew the young man was around even though it didn't show him, that he was mimicking it too, that he wanted to hug, kiss, and talk to all day long in his class. But he couldn't, and it was Nicki's entire week.
