Chet's POV
During my fourth session with Penelope, I felt stiff.
"How's school going? Have you settled in yet?"
"It's fine." I scratched my cheek, already checking to see how much time we had left.
"Have you made any friends yet? Maybe with the other hybrids?"
"Kinda." I mumbled. "I like Harrison a lot but the two girls.. They're nice but.." I trailed off and she waited patiently.
When I didn't finish my sentence, "Would you say you and Harrison are friends?"
"Yeah, we go out together sometimes and we text a lot. He's friends with the girls too so I'm around them a lot. I'm friendly with them but I feel.. uncomfortable, I guess."
"And that's completely normal." She
