We pulled up to the gates of the Crescent Moon Pack, and the guards immediately let us in when they saw it was me.
Jill was starting to look nervous as she took in our surroundings. It caused me nothing but satisfaction seeing her squirm.
We pulled up to the pack house, and Drake wasn’t there. It was Jared and Clair instead. I felt a little disappointed. I was hoping that I hadn’t missed him. I could see that both Clair and Jared had surprised expressions when they saw us arriving. I guess they weren’t expecting me to be back so soon.
