Trish and Clair both arrived at my room around noon carrying garment bags. They were super excited for us to get ready together, and I shared the same feeling. Clair brought a bottle of champagne with her for us to enjoy while we got ready.
They laid out their garment bags on my bed before turning to face me.
“Let’s get this party started,” Clair announced as she popped the cork off the bottle of champagne.
I grabbed three glasses from the little bar area in my room and handed them to Clair, one by one, so she could pour us drinks.
Once she was done, we toasted to a fun-filled evening and new beginnings.
