We are all sitting in Kingston’s office, tense and stressed. The realization that Khayder is more powerful than we initially thought hit us hard.
“Isn't that great news though?” Hunter is pacing around the room. He is the only one who seems excited.
“If by great you mean that everything is horrible then yes,” Lex says emotionlessly. If I'm honest, he looks worse than anybody else here. I want to come closer to him, give him a hug, tell him that he did a good job… but with Hunter, in the room, it seems wrong.
