I wouldn’t want to admit it but my mind was blown away to hear Clara asking me to leave. I already did what she wanted and made the Pack doctor leave but she doesn’t seem to be satisfied.
She appeared to forget whom she was talking to with the tone of her voice.
“Do you want Caleb to be saved or not?”
Her question sounded like nothing but a threat. And I could have snarled at her face for asking too many things from her Alpha, but I needed Caleb to be cured as soon as possible. I’ve got to let this pass in order to save Caleb.
“The answer is yours, Alpha,” she even added with a jeer.
I cleared my throat and warned her, “Don’t do anything stupid, and do everything to save him.”
