“Thank you for accepting our invitation, Duchess.”
Latisha was the first to start the discussions. When the children had excused themselves from the table, the three women were then left with their tea. Roseanne’s eyes would waver on her son as if checking if he needed assistance. Although she doubted that would happen, there was a side to her that needed to be sure.
Roseanne smiled. “It is a pleasure to have tea with you ladies.”
She thought that the whole thing would be draining for her, but unlike the ladies, she would meet at social gatherings, the two women she was with seemed like they were comfortable to be with.
