Given that she was not legally divorced, there was nothing in her memory that speaks of how her husband was interested in holding another ceremony. He didn’t give Alistair another mother or had another woman sitting in the title of Duchess Chestimir.
If her memory served her right, the Imperial Knights addressed her as her title when they captured her. Given that it was spoken with hate, all still addressed her in a title. Duchess Chestimir. Not as Roseanne Aethelburh. Even if the knights despised her as someone who had harmed Alistair, they gladly offered her title.
