Alistair was sulking.
He was worried the second he had been aware that Roseanne was attending a gathering on her own. Everyone is aware that Severin was having a more challenging time than anyone else though, as he had been talking with the Grand Duke for hours, pestering him to stop his mother from attending the gathering. But as the day came, Alistair looked like he wanted to say something. Severin was holding Roseanne, whispering what she needed to look out for.
Alistair didn’t understand why she needed to be on her own.
His mother had been looking out for his schedule for a while, and as much as she wanted to say that he wanted to skip his classes, he almost did not want to. His mother was excited about every new skill that Alistair would have.
