“Is there a reason for this change, your majesty?” suppressing the sigh nearly escaping his throat, Helios stood by his room’s open glass door leading to his balcony, still in his night wear, eyes nearly glaring at the king who occupied his balcony with a pot of freshly brewed coffee. “You are aware…that it is only 3 in the morning, yes?”
Pouring his cup, Vesper kept his back facing his right hand. “Is there a rule that forbids me from doing so?” lifting his cup, he savored the scent of the coffee that he brewed himself. “Come and sit. It’s rude to keep the guest waiting.” As he drank on his coffee, he let his trusted man to approach him from behind and sit quietly beside him.
