Ryan frantically unlocked the cell door as Serena and Xantha looked up sharply. His expression was so wild and desperate that Serena feared that he was about to hurt them both, backing away until her back hit the wall.
"What's wrong" Xantha asked sharply, arms folded and her expression foreboding. Evidently she didn't feel the fear that was coursing through Serena's body.
"One of our pack members are injured. We need you to heal them" he muttered at Serena who had already leapt up and moved towards him.
