Xavier was angrier than ever, shouting orders at his pack members, going on endless runs and sparring furiously with pack members who clearly wished they were elsewhere. Ever since he'd rejected Serena he'd hated himself, Shadow completely disgusted with him and refusing to speak. On occasion he even refused to let Xavier shift, unable to do it every time because of the amount of energy it took.
Even Xantha was beginning to feel apologetic. She'd handled things just as badly, refusing to see Serena's side of it. Looking back she realised that Serena had made a choice in the split decision she had. If it had been Xantha who'd been turned into a little girl wouldn't she want Serena to care for her and forgive her own actions? She'd been a selfish horrible person to her sister.
