He shifted, sprawled on the ground, head hung down in defeat, completely naked but oblivious as Xavier stared him down with cold narrowed eyes, debating what to do with Richard.
"It's over Richard" he said softly, sensing the other man's lack of resistance and seeing the man's face crumple, the other wolves restless and chatting amongst themselves (those who had shifted back at any rate, the others mind-linking). The helicopter sat forgotten although Serena could swear some of the wolves were eyeing it greedily.
"Do it" it was softly spoken, barely above a whisper yet Serena and Xavier heard it clearly "kill me already" Richard said slightly louder, his expression earnest, almost begging for his life to be over.
