Serena stared straight ahead, sobbing quietly, a handkerchief held up to her eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her knees threatened to buckle and if it wasn't for Johnathon, holding her upright, she might have collapsed right next to her dear friend's gravesite. It was raining and she shivered slightly from the cold, feeling the depression in the air, the lack of people attending dismal, to say the least. Serena couldn't believe that her friend was gone, forever, and she felt like her heart had been ripped out of her chest and torn into shreds.
