Life continued to be blissful for Serena, who spent the time cleaning and thinking up ways to get Johnathon to agree to her return to work. That was, until the day she received a phone call from her bank.
"Mrs. Smith," said the voice on the other end, a smooth, masculine voice that sounded robotic and monotone "this is the commonwealth bank. We are calling to confirm that all of your accounts have been closed and terminated."
Serena was confused, She had never even called the bank in the last few weeks so this was all news to her. She figured there must be some sort of mistake. They had to have confused her with someone else.
"I'm sorry, there must be some sort of mistake" she began "I never phoned you."
"Let me check my records, madam. One moment."
