Caleb’s POV
When we got to the house I fed Daisy while Harper wrangled the kids for baths and bed tonight. I turn the TV on to watch the weather and to think about what to do tomorrow for Harper’s birthday. We wouldn’t be heading home yet, so I had the day to do something new with her again.
While I was sitting there thinking, I heard little feet running through the house before I got tackled by two precious little girls. I tickled them, making them scream and laugh loudly. I picked them both up and put them over my shoulders to walk down the hall. They continued to laugh as loud as they could. I dropped them both in their beds while smiling at how full of life they were. Harper was walking into their room as they were getting settled for the night.
