What it takes to be an Alpha.
Maddox has a lot in his plate right now.
There had been another attack last night and it was the first time in weeks that they were not able to stop them from invading on the single entrance that they were terrorizing. It means that they managed to infiltrate the pack on its deeper end before he managed to fully handle the situation. Unlike what he was expecting, it had gone from a larger number than normal.
Learning from his past mistake, he had assigned a number of wolves to watch over his wife and some of the safe house — which does gave him little warriors to work with. He needed to figure out the specific number needed to make sure that he didn’t make the same mistakes.
“So far we have ten injured men.” Jax announced
