Shortly after Bash and I mated, we were summoned to Uncle Apollo’s office. I didn’t waste any time throwing on some clothes before practically fleeing down the hall with Bash right beside me. I wanted to see my sister again. I also wanted to show her my mate mark. I still can’t believe that I am mated. It all feels surreal. Throwing open Uncle Apollo’s door, I scan the office, looking for my twin; when my eyes land on her, I run over to her.
Crashing into her, we fall to the floor as I crush her to me. Her laugh fills the room as I just cling to my sister. “Gah, get off of me.” I can hear that Maeve doesn’t really mean it as she tightens her arms around me. Laughing, I pull back and tilt my head. “Holy s*it!” Maeve yells with wide eyes as she takes in my bite mark.
