Samika's POV
While we are still celebrating, Niko walks in and he whispers something in Brent's ear that got him to stop smiling. Brent looks at me for a minute and then tells something back to Niko.
I don't know what it is, but I only know that it has something to do with me. I patiently wait until Niko leaves and then walk to Brent. Niko isn't the problem here. But the news that he has brought is. That changed the entire mood that Brent was in.
I look at Olive and she looks just as clueless as I am.
"What's wrong?" I ask him and he takes my hand and we walk a little further from the celebrations. I can hear the faint music now and this is just making me even more nervous than I already am.
